Every Viper lamp is 400 W: the 400 W model has one lamp, the 800 W has two and the 1200 W has three. Each Viper comes with its transformer and flow switch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePipe size is the size of the unit's inlet and outlet. The 400 W comes in 120 V or 220 V; the 800 W and 1200 W are 220 V only. A 120 V unit plugs into a 3-prong GFCI outlet. For a reef tank, Aqua UV recommends 30,000 to 45,000 µW\/cm², because higher doses kill the plankton the reef feeds on.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor a fish-only marine system, Aqua UV recommends 75,000 to 90,000 µW\/cm² to control fish disease.
