What Makes Ginrin Kujyaku So Special?
The Kujyaku is already one of the most luminous koi varieties — a platinum metallic body netted with matsuba shadow and washed with orange-red hi, named "peacock" for good reason. Layer genuine ginrin scales over that metallic ground and the effect is jewelry in motion: every scale catches the light twice, once from the metallic base and again from the diamond sparkle above it.
Fukazawa Koi Farm produced this young female with the balance the variety demands: bright hi, even netting, and sparkle running clean down the back. Females of this quality build impressive volume with age, and her shine will only intensify as she grows.
