At Play It Koi, we strive to offer the best service, selection, and quality pond supplies at the best prices to our customers. Our #1 goal is repeat business for you and your friends! If you find a lower price (shipped) anywhere, we would welcome the opportunity to try to meet or beat it!
We ask the following:
- Please double check the shipping and handling costs that the other firm charges and then compare prices. Since most of our orders are free shipping over $99, usually it ends up being less expensive once you include the competitors shipping fees.
- If the price is still lower than ours, let us know where you found the product, what the product is and the total price with shipping and tax if any (total delivered price).
- We price match only with other "Authorized Resellers" of the product. At Play it Koi, we take our authorized Dealer status with our suppliers very seriously and comply with all of an authorized supplier's contractual obligations to not sell below the Minimum Advertised Pricing Policy (MAPP) when applicable. We do this because it is the right thing to do for you in the long run and so that we can maintain our authorized dealer status's which provides you a greater level of protection and security as the buyer. Non-Authorized retailers sometimes, unfortunately, try to take shortcuts and offer things for prices below MAPP for small short term gain, but it is at your long term cost and they don't share this with you because they care more about a quick sale than a long term valued relationship like us.
- With purchase, referrals, reviews, and other shopping activities often comes additional exclusive rewards often in the form of Play It Koi “Fin Points” which offers additional store credit towards future purchase. The value of these rewards must also be considered.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to match prices when the other site does not have stock. Many sites will show out of stock items at lower than any natural a vendor could offer to get you in the door when, in reality, they cannot offer that low.
Price matching will only be done prior to the sale. Sorry, but we cannot match prices after the sale is completed. The reason for this is that many suppliers will offer limited time and quantity promotions which we then pass along the savings to you while we can. However, when that time or quantity has been sold it can no longer be offered. Price matches are done at our discretion. We reserve the right to deny a price match for any reason. That said, on those requests, we actually do receive, we do our absolute best to match even if it ends up being a wash for us.
