EPDM Sizing & Installation
Calculate your liner size: (pond length + 2× max depth + 2 ft) × (pond width + 2× max depth + 2 ft). The extra 2 feet provides overlap for edging. EPDM stretches slightly, which helps it settle into contours. Seaming two pieces requires EPDM seam tape and primer — or order a single piece large enough to avoid seams entirely. Pro tip: let the liner sit in the sun for 30 minutes before installation. The warmth makes EPDM more pliable and easier to work into corners and shelves.
