Description
TetraPond Debris Handling Pumps provide continuous operation and clog-free performance, featuring an impeller that resists blockage and passes up to 1/4" debris. These pumps are energy efficient and are capable of powering filters, waterfalls and streams. They are also oil-free so that they will not contaminate aquatic life.
How does it work?
Water, dirt and debris are drawn through 1/4" holes in the large pre-filter cage that prevents leaves, sticks and other large debris from entering the pump. The open-faced unidirectional impeller allows debris up to 1/4" to pass through without clogging. This debris is then pumped to the external filter for removal, or directly into the waterfall or stream.
