Exotic, beautiful, and easily the focal point of any water gardeners collection, tropical water lilies offer spectacular blooms of radiant colors throughout the summer. Their large, fragrant flowers extend up to a foot across on stems that rise above the water. Tropical water lilies come in just about every color and shade, from white, pink, and yellow to purple, blue, and red, which makes them ideal for water gardens.
Plant your lilies after the water warms up in late spring or early summer. Most require at least 5 hours of daily, full sun and regular fertilizing at least once per month. Maintain tropicals in a greenhouse to place back in your pond around early June.
