Dream Pond Quick Start

Like many others, our fascination with Koi Fish and Koi Ponds started with an admiration for the animals as well as the beauty a pond could bring to our outdoor living space. 

When we as a family first decided to build our first Koi Pond, we struggled to find all the right products and  all the right information. Doing a quick Google Search yielded thousands of possible products and guides. Everything from how to construct a water feature, which aeration, filtration, plants, and even which fish to pick. It's a bit overwhelming so we at Play it Koi have decided we want to curate a list of our favorite plants, fish, and equipment to share how we and other Koi Pond owners have implemented those products in order to help make your dream pond a REALITY. 

This list and pond examples will be updated from time to time.
