Description
Dwarf Horsetail is an aquatic marginal plant with erect to slightly twisting, hollow, segmented, black-banded green stems, insignificant, scale-like leaves and sharp-pointed, cone-like, pale brown fruiting heads at the tips of fertile stems.
Unlike its cousin, the giant horsetail, which grows 4-6 feet tall and can act as great cover, the Dwarf horsetail typically only grows up to be about1 ft tall and act as a wonderful accent plant. Cold hardy plant. Great as a companion to a Bonsai plant!
