Description
Japanese Primrose is an herbaceous perennial, that is native to Japan. It thrives in shady, cool, and wet or moist areas. It produces lovely bright flowers in shades of purple and pink during the Spring and Summer months. It has deciduous green foliage, with leaves that are oblong and ovate, with toothed margins. It grows to heights between 12 and 24 inches, and up to 12 inches wide. Must have moist rich soil and can grow in water up to 4 inches deep.
