This compact herbaceous perennial has long, narrow, dark green leaves which can grow up to 6" tall. It blooms heavily during the warm months, with showy tubular, petunia-like blue flowers. Plant in full sun or part shade, and provide moderate irrigation. Seedlings without the compact habit may come up in moist soils. Cut plants back in late winter to remove frost damage and encourage new growth.
