The Aqua Ultraviolet Ozone Series combines proven UV-C sterilization with an integrated ozone generation module — adding a second oxidative attack on dissolved organics, nitrites, and parasitic life that pure UV can miss. The Ozone Series uses the same Classic Series UV chamber and lamp at every wattage, so flow-rate sizing matches the Classic line wattage-for-wattage. The added ozone module discharges directly into the water stream, attacking organic loads pure UV alone can't reach. Available in 8 W → 240 W across 3/4" and 2" port sizes for ponds from ornamental water gardens through commercial koi farms and aquaculture systems.

UV-only vs UV+Ozone — when do I need ozone?
Pure UV-C is excellent for green-water (algae) and free-swimming pathogens. Ozone adds attack on dissolved organic compounds, nitrites, and complex parasitic stages where pathogens can hide from UV. Choose Ozone Series for heavily-stocked koi systems, aquaculture grow-out, or systems with high dissolved-organic loads. Choose Classic UV for general-purpose pond clarification.
Is the ozone safe for fish and pond plants?
Yes when sized correctly — Aqua UV's integrated module discharges low-concentration ozone that contact-kills pathogens then breaks down within seconds back to oxygen. Ozone toxicity is concentration × time; the unit's flow-through design keeps contact time below fish-toxic thresholds. Don't oversize (dose is matched to chamber GPH).
Are Ozone Series replacement bulbs the same as Classic?
Yes — same T5 UV-C lamps by wattage. A20015 (15W) works in both 15W Classic and 15W Ozone.
Do I need a separate quartz sleeve for the Ozone module?
No — the ozone generator is a separate sealed module from the UV lamp + quartz sleeve. Replace the quartz sleeve on the same annual schedule as Classic Series; the ozone module needs no annual service.
