Replacement lamp kits, transformers and small parts for Aqua Ultraviolet Viper UV sterilizers. The step transformer, ignitor and A40006 rubber seal also fit Aqua UV's SL units.

Lamp kits
Every Viper lamp is 400 W, so a 400 W unit takes one kit, an 800 W takes two and a 1200 W takes three. Each kit has the lamp, a quartz sleeve and bushings; the plastic kits for units without a wiper also include rubber seals. Kits don't include a housing or a wiper.
Match the kit to your unit's pipe size and housing. 4" and 6" plastic housings come in a standard style and a saddle style, and they take different kits. If you aren't sure which you have, check the part number on your old kit or call us.

Transformers
The complete transformer, which Aqua UV calls a NEMA transformer, is the whole transformer box. Aqua UV makes a different one for each wattage, voltage and housing, so match all three to your unit. The 800 W and 1200 W transformers are 220 V only.

A RAW transformer is the bare transformer inside the box, one per lamp. Aqua UV sells it alone (AS39404) or with the ignitor (AS39405). Aqua UV's store lists both as 220 V. Its 2026 price list gives AS39405 as 120 V or 220 V, and no voltage for AS39404. If your Viper runs on 120 V, call us before you order one.
The step transformer (A30106) and the ignitor (A30103) are also parts inside the box. The step transformer is only in 120 V transformers. RAW transformers, the step transformer and the ignitor are final sale and can't be returned.
Quartz caps, seal and flow switch
- White quartz cap (A40139) for 2" and 3" plastic Vipers without a wiper.
- Grey quartz cap (A40142) for 4" and larger plastic Vipers without a wiper.
- Clear quartz cap (A40115) for stainless steel Vipers, plastic Vipers with a wiper, and Aqua UV's Stainless Steel Series units.
- Rubber seal (A40006) for 2" and 3" plastic Vipers without a wiper, and for SL units. Plastic Vipers 4" and larger take a different seal (A40016) that we don't carry, so call us for that one. Aqua UV's manual also lists A40016 for 800 W and 1200 W Vipers, so if yours is a 3" 800 W or 1200 W, call us before you order A40006.
- Flow switch assembly (A40255): the paddle, switch and connector for 800 W and 1200 W Vipers, plastic or stainless steel. Call us with your unit's part number before you order.
