Kasco Macro-Zyme Muck Pucks

Kasco's Macro-Zyme Muck Pucks are pre-portioned beneficial bacteria pucks designed for targeted treatment of high-muck zones in ponds and small lakes. Each 7 lb pail contains 266 individual pucks, with each puck treating up to 10 ft² of pond bottom. Drop a puck where muck has accumulated — around drains, beneath docks, in stagnant corners — and the slow-release bacterial blend goes to work biodegrading sludge, leaves, fish waste, and other organic debris. Specifications

Application

1. Identify high-muck zones in your pond — typically around inlets, drainage points, dock pilings, fountain bases, and fish-feeding areas
2. Drop one puck per 10 ft² of muck-affected area
3. Pucks sink and rest on the muck layer; bacteria release as the puck slowly dissolves over several days
4. Reapply every 3 weeks during active season (water temperatures 55°F+) until muck is visibly reduced
5. For maintenance after initial cleanup, reapply once per month during active season
