The API® GH & KH Test Kit accurately measures general hardness (GH) and carbonate hardness (KH) in turtle habitats, pond water, and aquariums. Both parameters matter for aquatic health — GH reflects dissolved calcium and magnesium, KH buffers against pH swings.
