These are the parts you handle every time you clean an Artesian pump's strainer basket: the clamp ring, the clear lid, the lid O-ring and the basket itself. PerformancePro recommends checking the basket at least once a week.
The lid O-ring is what keeps the strainer pot airtight. If your pump is slow to prime or pulls air, a worn or dirty lid O-ring is one of the first things to check.
Pick the part, then your pump series. Artesian2 and Artesian Classic pumps share the same lid, lid O-ring and clamp ring on PerformancePro's 2026 parts list. The strainer baskets are different for each series.

To take the lid off, hold the clamp ring by its tabs and turn it counterclockwise. Cascade pumps don't have a built-in strainer; see our PerformancePro strainer pots.
