Descripción
Scirpus americanus, the three-square rush, is a robust, fast-growing marginal with striking three-sided stems topped by spikelet-like flowers. Reaching 3-6 feet, it suits pond margins and shorelines, where its spreading habit also helps with erosion control and bank stabilization.
