Description

Introducing the diva of aquatic plants - the graceful cattail! This stunning perennial knows how to make an entrance, spreading out its rhizomes to create a posse of lush green foliage in shallow water. It loves rich loamy soil.

Standing tall at a modest 130 cm, the graceful cattail may not be the tallest cat tail in the pond, but it's definitely the most elegant. With its slender, round, pale-green leaves, it's the Audrey Hepburn of the water world.

And don't even get us started on those light brown catkins that appear in mid to late summer. Talk about a fashion statement! This cat tail knows how to rock the reed-like look like nobody's business.

So grab a drink, kick back, and let your new aquatic BFF work its magic in full sun or partial shade. You won't be disappointed!
