Tiempo limitado y cantidades limitadas : los lotos se cosechan durante la latencia invernal y se envían a raíz desnuda, solo del 15 de marzo a principios de mayo. Los pedidos se envían de lunes a miércoles de cada semana y dependen del clima. Nelumbo nucifera 'Qian Shumei', bowl lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.
Qian Shumei is a tiny bowl lotus with slender petals that open upward and outward like small porcelain cups. Availability is very limited.
The petals are mostly creamy white, warming to golden yellow at the base. The edges and fine veins are traced in clear pink, which gets stronger at the pointed tips. A neat ring of pale stamens surrounds the golden-yellow center, and the warm center shows through the thin white petals.

As a bowl lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established. Start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered. Pot size, soil and the rest of the method are in the lotus planting instructions.
