FlukeGuard Treatment Instructions

Step 1: Measure the Dose
Calculate how much FlukeGuard you need based on your pond's total water volume. Use an accurate scale to measure the correct amount.

Step 2: Mix the FlukeGuard
Add the measured FlukeGuard to a container of warm water (not hot). Mix thoroughly to create a slurry.

Step 3: Add to the Pond
Slowly pour the mixture into the pond. Add it near a water return or aeration area to help spread the medication evenly throughout the pond.

Step 4: Keep Aeration Running
Keep your pond's aeration running throughout the treatment to maintain good oxygen levels. Watch your koi for any signs of stress or unusual behavior.

Step 5: Repeat if Needed
For heavy fluke infestations, a second treatment may be given 7 days later. Follow the same steps and dosage instructions.

Important Treatment Instructions

• Do not overdose. Overdosing can be fatal to fish.

• Do not combine FlukeGuard with other medications or treatments.

• Turn off UV sterilizers, ozone generators, protein skimmers, and carbon filtration for the entire 7-day treatment period.

• Keep aeration running throughout treatment.

• Store FlukeGuard above 50°F.

• For best effectiveness, use within 3 months of opening.
