Description
Iris laevigata ‘Royal Cartwheel’ are Japanese water irises, and grow up to 24 inches tall. These deciduous plants create a marvelous hue of violet-blue shades on each flower petal, starting off purple and blending into white striped centers. This is the perfect chance to raise Iris laevigata in your own decorative containers. Plant two varieties in one container for an eye-catching effect!
Like other Iris laevigata, it flowers best in 2 to 8 inches of standing water, and it can also grow in damp soil.
