Nishikigoi Wakimizu Bakki Shower Media is the biological filter media that loads the trays of a Wakimizu Bakki shower. As oxygen-rich pond water trickles down through the media, a huge population of beneficial bacteria colonizes every surface and converts dissolved wastes, ammonia and nitrite, into harmless nitrate. Choose the media that fits how you run your shower.
Two Media Options
- Wakimizu Media (100-piece box) — the standard high-surface-area media for the Nishikigoi Wakimizu Bakki showers. Sold by the 100-piece box.
- Nishikigoi Spiral House Media (30-piece box) — a spiral-form media that packs a large amount of biological surface area into each piece. Sold by the 30-piece box.
