Description
The 'Zeal Salmon' is a crimson flag lily that grows in spikes of luscious red to salmon-pink, open, star-shaped flowers. This semi-evergreen will keep your fall and winter months alive with color, as it blooms between late summer and early winter. It prefers full sun to partial shade and grows to approximately 15 to 24 inches with thin, iris-like leaves. In the wild this species grows in wet ground beside streams, so plant it where the soil stays consistently moist. This one is excellent for cut flowers, that will last a long time in a vase.
It grows in moist soil or in up to 1 inch of water.
Absolutely gorgeous!
