Description
Nelumbo nucifera 'Shirokunshi Tulip', large pond lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.
Shirokunshi Tulip is a classic single-petal lotus with paper white flowers held high above the leaves. On the first day each flower opens with its petals standing upright, much like a tulip. This is a tall lotus, 48 inches and up, so plant it in a large pot.

As a large pond lotus, this one settles at 12 to 24 inches of water over the crown once established.
