Nelumbo nucifera — medium lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.
Happy, Happy, Happy. Apricot Yellow is an added ray of sunshine in your garden! It is one of the truest yellow flowers that we grow and it has a happy flying, dancing shape. The extremely elongated petals make the flower over-sized for the medium plant and BIG flowers are always welcome! Apricot Yellow starts slow but is well worth the wait. It will probably grow especially well in the southern part of the US where temperatures are warmer.

As a medium lotus, this one settles at 6 to 18 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
