Aqua Meds Aqua Prazi Treatment Instructions

Dosage

• 1 gram treats 100 gallons

• 10 grams treats 1,000 gallons

• 1 level tablespoon treats approximately 500 gallons

Before Treatment

1. Perform at least a 10% water change.

2. Remove activated carbon from the filter.

3. Keep your pond filter running.

4. Turn off the UV light for 24–48 hours, but keep water flowing through the UV unit.

5. Turn off the protein skimmer, if you use one.

How to Mix & Apply

1. Measure the correct amount of Aqua Prazi for your pond volume.

2. Add the Aqua Prazi to 1 quart of pond water.

3. Shake vigorously for 3–5 minutes.

4. Pour this mixture into a 4–5 gallon bucket of pond water and mix well.

5. Distribute the mixture around the edge of the pond, or pour it into the skimmer or filter outlet to help distribute the treatment throughout the pond.

Treatment Schedule

For best results, use 2 treatments:

• Treatment 1 – Day 1: Treat the entire pond. This targets the live flukes.

• Treatment 2 – Day 4: Repeat the full treatment 3 days after the first treatment. This targets young flukes as they hatch.

Important

• Do not perform any water changes for 7 days after the first treatment.

• Do not use other koi pond medications or treatments at the same time.

• Aqua Prazi is intended for treating flukes in koi and pond fish.

• Do not use on fish intended for human consumption.
