BiFuran+™ is a powdered formula designed to treat external bacterial-, fungal-, and protozoan-caused disease conditions in pond, freshwater, and marine fishes. It can be used as a tank-wide bath treatment, a short-term marine dip, or mixed with food for systemic delivery.

• Inactive: Sodium Chloride, Synthetic Polymers, and a Chelating Agent

Dosing Instructions

Bath Treatment

Add 1 capful (~9.7 g) per 10 gallons (38 L) of water for external microbial disease in freshwater, marine, or pond systems.

Short-Term Dip (Marine)

Mix into conditioned freshwater and submerge the affected fish with gentle aeration. Allow the fish to remain in the dip until they can no longer remain upright or show other signs of osmotic stress — typically no longer than 1 minute.

Oral / Medicated Feed

Mix BiFuran+™ with food or prepare medicated feed for internal infections.

Treatment Duration & Water Management

Perform a partial or complete water change immediately before treatment, then continue water changes every 24 hours with a fresh dose for up to 7 days, or until the condition improves or losses cease. Discontinue if no improvement appears within 3 days.

Volume Calculation

Calculate the system's actual water volume so the dose is accurate: length × width × average depth ÷ 238 = US gallons. Subtract substrate and decoration displacement before dosing.

Contraindications

• Do not overdose. Overdosing will not accelerate healing and may cause fatalities.
• Avoid sulfur- or sulfinite-based water conditioners during treatment — they reduce product effectiveness and lower dissolved oxygen.
• Avoid skin and eye contact. Avoid breathing the powder or dust (use of a painter's mask is suggested when handling). Avoid ingestion.
• California Proposition 65: This product contains a chemical (metronidazole) known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
