Its advanced shape and unique structure provide a class-leading surface area, giving beneficial bacteria more space to colonize and thrive. K+Media is also manufactured with added minerals and enzymes, helping encourage beneficial bacteria development and support faster biofilm maturation.

K+Media is manufactured in the UK by Evolution Aqua using an innovative extrusion process. During manufacture, minerals and enzymes are added to the raw material, creating a filtration media that offers exceptional protected surface area while helping to reduce the time it takes for a filter to mature.
With 1,350 m² of total surface area per m³ and 1,025 m² of protected surface area per m³, K+Media gives beneficial bacteria an extensive environment in which to establish and develop.
The result is a highly efficient filtration media that combines advanced biological performance with effective mechanical filtration, helping you achieve cleaner, healthier water.
