Description
Unions let you take the pump out without cutting pipe. New Artesian2 pumps come with 2 in. unions, and new ArtesianPro pumps come with 3 in. unions (2 in. on request).
Each Artesian2 and ArtesianPro union is a nut, a tailpiece you glue to your pipe, and an O-ring. Slide the nut onto the tailpiece before you glue it, and tighten the nut by hand: PerformancePro says hand tight is enough.
Pick the part, then your pump. Cascade and Artesian Classic unions are sold as complete assemblies. The Artesian Classic union is a 2 in. S union with a threaded tailpiece and rib gasket.
