Description
The volute is the pump's front housing. On Artesian2 and ArtesianPro pumps it is the strainer pot and both plumbing ports in one piece. On Cascade pumps it is the front housing around the impeller.
Replace the volute if the housing is cracked or a port is damaged. All of the moving parts come out the back of the pump, so the volute can stay plumbed in while you service everything else.
A wet end is the pump end without the motor. The impeller inside is matched to your pump model, so we'll confirm your model number with you before we order it from PerformancePro.
