Feeding Guide:

This is a warm-water food. Start it once your pond is staying above 60°F and the fish are feeding actively. When the water drops back under 60°F, move them on to PondMAX Spring & Fall Wheat Germ. Below 40°F, stop feeding altogether: a koi's metabolism is dormant at that point, and the food would just sit undigested.

  • Feed 2–3 times a day, and give only as much as the fish will finish in 5 minutes. Take out whatever is left.
  • The 4mm floating pellet is sized for fish of 4–6 inches and larger. Feeding smaller fish? Soften the pellets first.
  • Shrimp joins the spirulina here. Both are natural sources of the carotenoid pigments behind red and yellow, and koi can't make those pigments themselves; they have to get them from what you feed.
  • Probiotics are added to support digestion, which can mean less waste from your fish going into the pond.
  • Made in the USA.
