Tropical floating aquatic with larger, longer leaves than other water velvets. Salvinia Bolongifolia is a small floating fern that grows in clusters at the edge of the pond like a floating carpet where frogs often sit.
A newer and rare type of floaters from the Salvinia family with nice elongated leaves. It is classified as a fern, it is a fast-growing fairly easy floating plant to care for. Like most floaters, it does better with minimal water movement.
This rare floating plant that is hard to find and is perfect for aquariums or ponds. In a pond its leaves will grow bigger and faster. Produces thick roots about 2" down, fry like to hide in them.
The plants were healthy when I received them. Smaller than I anticipated, only about 6-8 inches long each, but hopefully they will grow fast.
