Description
Sea Side Aquatics Rotary Drum Filters (RDFs) provide high performance, self-cleaning mechanical filtration for koi ponds. They remove solid waste and debris from the water before it reaches your biological filtration, helping improve water clarity and reduce the waste load on the rest of your filtration system.
Pond water passes through a fine woven stainless steel drum screen that captures suspended solids and debris. As waste accumulates, the RDF automatically activates a cleaning cycle, rinsing the screen and flushing the collected debris directly to a waste line. This continuous, automated process delivers consistently clean water with minimal hands-on maintenance.
Choose your model, then your feed type
Choose the model that best matches your pond size, then select either Gravity Fed or Pump Fed. The flow rates shown below are the maximum gravity fed ratings. Pump fed installations are rated approximately 30% lower, so we recommend sizing up when pumping water into the filter.

Pump-fed configurations add extra 110 mm outlets on most models. D50 pond sizing is not published by the manufacturer; size it from the flow rating.
