Description
Nelumbo nucifera — dwarf lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.
Kui Hua Xiang Yang 13. 'Sunflower Face to the Sun 13' is uniquely colored little lotus perfectly suited for a small bowl on your patio or for placement in front of taller lotus in your pond. The luminous flowers are very pretty pink and there are often green-tipped yellow petals in the center. When the flower is fully open the petals spread into airy layers giving the flower extra visual impact!

As a dwarf lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
