Tubing Adapters by Model
Check your tubing size before you pick a model. The adapters that come with the pump cover different inside diameters depending on the size, and only the XS215 and XS250 include 5/8 in and 3/4 in adapters.

Setup & Care
- Keep it fully submerged whenever it's running, and plug it into a properly grounded, GFCI-protected outlet.
- Plan for water no warmer than 95°F (35°C). That's the top of its design range.
- You can turn the flow down at the dial without putting back-pressure stress on the motor. The dial works by restricting the outlet.
- It's oil-free, which matters when fish share the water: there's no contamination risk in freshwater or saltwater aquariums, aquaponics systems or fish-containing features.
- Plan on regular cleaning. Take out the rotor/impeller and clear debris and lime scale from it and from the pump chamber; mineral crust comes off if you soak the parts in vinegar or lemon juice, then put it back together.
