Description
Nelumbo nucifera — large pond lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.
Liu Chao Yu Ye. Nanjing Noble has a classically shaped very large single-petal flower which is pale green on the first day. It changes to a beautiful extra light yellow flower with very elongated petals and a beautiful bright golden center. The stamen are a particularly bright and charming orange when at their peak!

As a large pond lotus, this one settles at 12 to 24 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
