Description
Nelumbo nucifera ‘Bai Feng Guang’ — bowl lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.
Miniature perfection. White Phoenix is a very small bowl lotus perfect for growing in a micro-pot. The color is pure white and the flower has a lovely shape. Look at all the flowers and buds on those pots! These are growing in pots that are 11" wide and 7.5" deep. We suggest using the pot-in-pot method when growing this lotus in a pot less than 8" wide - see below.

As a bowl lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered. Pot size, soil and the rest of the method are in the lotus planting instructions.
