Description
The 'White Lava' taro brings a vibrant, tropical feel to your garden or waterscape, with its lush and glossy heart-shaped brilliant green leaves that droop toward the ground. Each leaf has a creamy-white band down the center, which radiates into the veins of the leaf, and each is adorned with a purple spot where the leaf meets the thick, purple stalk. The flowers, which are infrequent, or often hidden by the large leaves, are a yellowish-green and have a calla lily-like shape. This sun lover grows up to 4 feet tall, and 3 feet wide.
