Description
Nelumbo nucifera ‘Yue Xia’ — dwarf lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.
'Moonbeam' has a very rich dark pink flower on the first day which changes to light pink in the center. The shape is wonderful and it blooms all summer long--what more could you want?

As a dwarf lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
