What is a Sacred Lotus? The lotus is a flower revered in many cultures, representing peace and a new beginning. The term 'Sacred Lotus' does not refer to a specific sub-species of lotus but to a type. The specific variety depends on the location, for example, the sacred lotus in India does not look like the sacred lotus of Viet Nam. A large lotus plant with a classic single-petal flower that is usually pink, white or white with red/pink edges is the image most people describe when they refer to the Sacred Lotus. We think you will be pleased with the lotus varieties that we have chosen to represent the Sacred Lotus! You will receive a large, single-petal lotus that is either soft red, white with red tips, pink or white -- selection is random.
