Planting Tips

Plant marginals in mesh baskets with aquatic soil, placing them on built-in pond shelves or stacked cinder blocks at the correct depth. Group plants in odd numbers (3s and 5s) for a natural look. Mix tall vertical growers (iris, cattails) with mounding varieties (parrot feather, creeping jenny) for textural contrast.
